Job Title - Security Engineer

Location - Midlands

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 basic

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join a growing engineering team, delivering installation, service, maintenance and fault-finding across commercial and residential customer sites throughout the Midlands.

This role is primarily focused on intruder alarm systems, with CCTV experience highly desirable and access control knowledge advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and fault-find intruder alarm systems.
• Commission new installations to current industry standards.
• Service and maintain CCTV systems where required.
• Assist with access control installations and maintenance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Participate in the on-call rota and occasional overnight stays.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience installing and servicing intruder alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of Texecom, Pyronix, Ajax and Galaxy systems.
• CCTV experience, ideally with Dahua.
• Access control experience, particularly Paxton, is advantageous.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to pass BS7858 Security Screening.
