Key Responsibilities

Cabling & Technical Support

• Install, test, and decommission structured cabling, including patch panels, patch leads, and cabinet work.

• Perform troubleshooting and Fluke testing, producing certification as required.

• Support hardware installations (servers, switches, cabinets) and assist third-party engineers when needed.

• Complete data centre maintenance tasks such as cabinet, PDU, and containment modifications.

Administration & Coordination

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the Lenel OnGuard system, including badge issuance, activation, replacement, and deactivation.

• Assign and update access levels based on role, clearance, and project requirements.

• Conduct regular access audits and promptly remove access for departing personnel.

• Maintain accurate personnel records and data within the Lenel system.

• Generate routine and ad-hoc reports on badge activity and access levels.

• Plan, schedule, and allocate resources to achieve programme, quality, and budget targets.
• Review drawings, specifications, and statements of work to ensure compliance and installation accuracy.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve design, installation, and commissioning issues.
• Supervise and mentor site teams, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
