Job Title - Electrical Supervisor

Location - North East, UK

Salary - £55,000 + £6,000 car allowance

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead installation teams, oversee project delivery and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance across a varied portfolio of electrical works.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering electrical projects across the commercial, residential, industrial and public sectors throughout the North East.

The Role

This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with strong supervisory experience who enjoys leading teams, managing site operations and delivering projects to a high standard.

Working closely with Project Managers, clients and site teams, you'll ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time and in full compliance with current electrical regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electricians and apprentices across multiple projects.
• Oversee electrical installations, testing, inspection and certification.
• Ensure all works comply with BS7671, health & safety legislation and industry standards.
• Plan labour, materials and site activities to meet project programmes.
• Review drawings and specifications to support successful project delivery.
• Liaise with clients, site managers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Complete site documentation, test certificates, RAMS and handover packs.
• Maintain exceptional quality standards and identify variations or additional works.
• Promote a safe working environment and lead by example on site.

About You

You'll have:

• Fully qualified Electrician status.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience supervising electrical teams or leading projects.
• Strong knowledge of testing, inspection and electrical certification.
• Experience delivering commercial and domestic electrical installations.
• Knowledge of NAPIT, NICEIC or equivalent compliance standards.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

• 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• IPAF and/or PASMA.
• Experience delivering projects within commercial, education, residential or industrial environments.
